To join the American Cancer Society to save lives and create a world with more birthdays.
You are invited to join the American Cancer Society in celebrating its 100th birthday. We continue in the spirit of celebration by honoring Chris Russell and Sandra Steele-Livingston as our special honorees and guests for this year's gala. The event is a fabulous evening attended by friends and supporters of Chris, Sandra, and the American Cancer Society. The spectacular evening features an opening cocktail reception, paired with an expansive and sparkling Silent Auction. An elegant dinner and program, honoring Chris and Sandra, follows. The special evening concludes with a Live Auction that offers many unique and coveted items.
For nearly a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that we helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations. Overall, 11 million cancer survivors in America will celebrate a birthday this year. Now that’s a reason to party, so join us!
Let's join together to save lives... even if it takes all night!
We hope to see you there!
