Join us on Sunday, August 18, 2013 for the Farm to Table Dinner, an inspired open air dining experience, based around ingredients sourced directly from local farm and farmers' markets. Diners will be seated inside the marketplace of Strites’ Orchard complete with formal linens and tableware amidst the pastoral local orchard. If you share a common philosophy about how we eat and in a larger sense, a passion to create a world with less cancer, join us for an unforgettable evening.

The event is being hosted at the beautiful Strites’ Orchard and Farm Market. It is a special venue for a memorable evening. The evening’s meal will be prepared by award-winning Chef Jason Viscount of Bricco. The meal will represent a celebration of seasonal flavors supported by local food and beverage artisans such as Waltz Vineyards and Troegs Brewing Company. For a century, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 15 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that we helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations. Overall, 11 million cancer survivors in America will celebrate a birthday this year. Now that’s a reason to party, so join us!
