On the evening of October 8, 2013, Coaches vs. Cancer will host the sixth annual Season Tipoff Reception at Kansas City’s Municipal Auditorium.
2013 marks the 20th Anniversary of Coaches vs. Cancer, and we invite you to join us for a celebration of college basketball and a tribute to Virginia and Norm Stewart for their contributions to the cause. The evening will include a live Media Session for the coaches, a VIP Reception with the coaches, live auction, plus the main event in the Municipal Auditorium Arena on its vintage wooden floor. The Arena Event features a silent auction, cocktails and gourmet arena food, and a powerful conversation with the area’s top college basketball coaches who will review their talent for the coming basketball season.
