Toledo Cattle Baron's Ball

Cheers to 100 Years: An evening to finish the fight!
Saturday, September 7, 2013

Join us at the American Cancer Society Toledo Cattle Baron's Ball on Saturday, September 7, 2013 for a boot scootin' good time! Great food, toe-tapping entertainment, a spectacular auction, and much more, provides for this premier event to be one of a kind. As we come together to party for a cause, the American Cancer Society will continue to save lives and create more birthdays by helping people to stay well and get well, find cures, and fight back against a disease that has taken too many lives.

This year, we will be honoring “Faces of Cancer” at our Cattle Baron’s Ball. We are looking for people in our community that represent the faces of cancer. We would like to acknowledge and celebrate those in our community that have made a difference in the lives of those fighting this disease. Learn more about the "Faces of Cancer" initiative and how to nominate someone you know for this year's event!

For 100 years, the American Cancer Society has fought for every birthday threatened by every cancer in every community. By taking what we’ve learned through research and turning it into what we do, we have contributed to a 20 percent decrease in the overall cancer death rate between the early 1990s and 2005. That means that we helped avoid about 650,000 cancer deaths and created the potential for more birthday celebrations. Overall, 11 million cancer survivors in America will celebrate a birthday this year. Now that’s a reason to party, so join us!

Please join the American Cancer Society to save lives and create a world with more birthdays.
We look forward to seeing you at the event!
