Joie de Vivre, Evening of Hope 2010
Santa Rosa Valley
Sunday, August 1, 2010
3pm - 7pm
For reservations, please contact Sandy Berg, sandy.berg@cancer.org or 805-644-4237.
Beginning at 3 p.m, join us for an afternoon strolling a French-themed Farmers Market featuring local produce, shopping at our silent auction and enjoying our signature Fleur de Lis cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Held at a luxurious private estate in the Santa Rosa Valley, with views of the valley and ocean, guests will be serenaded by French songstresses and lively jazz musicians. Our VIP Sponsors will enjoy the first half hour as guests of our host and hostess at their art gallery, extensive wine cellar and home theatre.
The silent auction will end just as dinner begins at 5, with a premier auction area reserved for after-dinner bidding. Your French dining experience will feature dishes from the French countryside by one of Ventura County’s leading caterers. During dinner, unique items will be up for bid during the live auction. Our Honorary Chair, Honoree and Event Chair will share the mission of the American Cancer Society, celebrating our near-century of support for cancer patients and their families.
Along with more than 300 guests from around Ventura County, you are invited to celebrate with us “Joie de Vivre” – Joy of Life – while we raise funds for patient services and cancer research.
